LAM reschedules flight, leaving over 200 passengers bound for Lisbon stranded

The airline issued a statement asking passengers to rebook their flights for the 17th of January or any subsequent flight without any additional charges.

The Commercial Department of LAM also mentioned that, in emergency situations, they can accommodate passengers on flights of partner airlines.

This incident occurred almost a month after Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique resumed flights to Portugal following a 12-year hiatus.

At the time of the resumption of the Lisbon route, passengers expressed great satisfaction, as in recent years they had to rely on constant connections when traveling between Maputo and Lisbon and vice versa.
