Venâncio Mondlane pledges to boost youth employment and agriculture in Mecanhelas
Presidential candidate Venâncio Mondlane visited another district in Niassa, this time Mecanhelas, during his electoral campaign this Saturday afternoon.
While interacting with the local population, Mondlane pledged to enhance technology access for the youth, promising that every Mozambican youth would have access to a computer, allowing them to compete with peers from developed countries.
He also vowed to strengthen agriculture in the district, capitalising on the existing potential for bean production.
"We will install factories and warehouses in Mecanhelas. We will also improve the deteriorating access roads, putting an end to hunger and poverty," Mondlane stated.
The PODEMOS candidate further reiterated his commitment to creating job opportunities for the youth, as well as building better hospitals and schools, should he be elected.
Mondlane also promised to establish an independent state, free from political party domination, arguing that when a party controls the state, it manipulates it.
It is worth noting that Venâncio Mondlane, the PODEMOS candidate, has been campaigning in Niassa, starting in Cuamba and continuing in Mecanhelas.
In celebration of Victory Day, Mondlane praised the dedicated efforts of teachers working to educate Mozambican children. He also commended doctors and the Mozambican police, acknowledging their suffering under the current regime.
