Simango conveyed this message recently during his meetings with members and supporters as part of the dissemination of the party’s electoral manifesto for the upcoming presidential elections.

In the interview, he explained that reducing taxes in the country is one of the measures included in the MDM's electoral manifesto for the general elections in October.

The Mozambique Democratic Movement is the third-largest political force in the country and the second-largest opposition party. According to the draw held by the National Election Commission (CNE) on Tuesday, the party will occupy the first position on the ballot paper.

The election campaign in Mozambique, during which all registered parties will take to the streets to convince voters, begins on the 26th of this month.
